Abdultaiyab (Abdul) Pisavadi

After graduating with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Manchester, I trained as an accountant and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

I have since remained in public practice and am currently a partner in [Simmons Gainsford LLP] a top 60 firm of Chartered Accountants based in the West End of London with offices in Uckfield and Gibraltar.

I am a general practitioner advising and assisting entrepreneurial owner managed businesses on audit and assurance, tax and other commercial matters.

I am currently my firm’s Ethics Partner and the London liaison with our Gibraltar office. My previous roles in the firm have included Graduate Recruitment and Training Partner and a Director of one of our joint venture businesses.

I also spent two years on the London Regional Leadership Group of Mosaic, a mentoring initiative of the Prince’s Trust.

I joined Bloomsbury Institute Limited as a Non-Executive Director in July 2021.

Interests

I have always been interested in the provision of equal educational opportunities for all and I am hopeful that my previous experience in mentoring and training will extend to this role.

I am also a Trustee and Treasurer of a local Community Charitable Trust.

My personal interests include travelling, the arts, TV and film.
