Nimo Sharif

Before stepping into her current role, she served as an English lecturer, where she had the opportunity to nurture students’ passion for literature and language. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience as an assistant teacher, proofreader, and private tutor. These earlier roles ignited her passion for literature, communication, and education, shaping her career path. She holds an MA in Comparative Literature and a BA in Creative Writing, both of which have profoundly influenced her understanding and appreciation of diverse narratives and cultures. These academic qualifications have equipped her with a broad perspective, enabling her to explore the intricacies of various literary traditions while fostering an environment where students can engage with literature on a deeper level. Her career has been driven by a desire to inspire others through the power of storytelling and effective communication.

Interests

Outside of work, she has a deep passion for reading, knitting, and traveling. She is always eager to learn and engage in thought-provoking conversations. She has a particular interest in exploring themes of diaspora, as well as delving into translated fiction, philosophy, and poetry.
