Andrew Manning

Non-Executive Director and Interim Chair

Having started his career as a civil servant, Andrew has spent 30 years advising on the development of risk and governance solutions, working in Big-4 and mid-tier professional services firms. He has worked across a range of industries and sectors, building start-up risk advisory practices and operating as an equity Partner in a number of firms.

Andrew has also worked with and advised executives and non-executive Boards on governance and risk solutions. His experience encompasses working in highly regulated sectors, and he has advised on legal and regulatory compliance across these industries.

Although his sector and industry experience is broad, Andrew has worked extensively with higher education establishments, delivering a range of assurance and consultancy assignments. It is a sector he is passionate about — one that is largely funded through government loans but needs to operate commercially to deliver high-quality education.
