OVERVIEW

The only CILEx-accredited LLB in the UK

The LLB Law & Legal Practice at Bloomsbury Institute London is the only undergraduate law degree in the UK accredited by CILEx Regulation — giving you a direct route to becoming a Chartered Legal Executive alongside the full academic standing of an LLB (Hons) validated by Birkbeck, University of London.

From Year 1, you'll work on real client matters under the supervision of qualified solicitors. Small cohort sizes (typically 25–30 per seminar group) mean your tutors know your name, and our timetable is built around working adults: two days per week, designed to fit around your life.

Graduates leave with a degree that carries full standing for SQE, BPTC, and employer recruitment — and exempt from two CILEx assessments on the route to Chartered Legal Executive status.

3rd

Ranked 3rd in London for student representation, and 7th in London overall (NSS 2026).

"I came here to discover something that I thought was lost to me, after 32 years of working in one company. For me, the support network in Bloomsbury is second to none – I've never known something to be so extensive."
