What is an accelerated degree?

Today's job market is competitive, and many people aspire to earn a degree to enhance their career prospects, develop essential skills, and gain a deeper understanding of their chosen profession. A traditional degree can be time-consuming and expensive — not everyone can afford to pause their career for three whole years to focus on studies.

This is where Bloomsbury Institute's accelerated degrees come into play. You can fast-track your career in the heart of one of the world's major legal, financial and business hubs. Our accelerated courses allow you to tap into the city's vast professional network, gain real-world insights, and establish valuable connections.

Accelerated degrees are an alternative to traditional undergraduate programmes. They are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in a shorter timeframe. Our 2-year accelerated degrees condense the coursework into a rigorous, immersive experience, allowing students to earn their degrees faster and enter the job market sooner.

Accelerated courses we offer

Our accelerated undergraduate courses are available in Business Management, Accounting and Finance, and Law. We condense the coursework of a typical 3-year bachelor's degree into 2 years. You will benefit from the same professional exemptions (ACCA, CIMA, CILEx) as students on our standard routes.

Choosing the right accelerated course

Our accelerated degrees are challenging and require real commitment and self-discipline. They are also deeply rewarding experiences and you'll find strong support from faculty and staff every step of the way. Contact us for a no-pressure conversation and we'll help you find the best route for you.

Important Information

Progression from one level of study to the next requires students to pass a minimum of 90 credits (three modules), with a maximum of 30 credits (one module) outstanding at the progression point. Students that have not passed the required credits will be required to transfer to the standard 3-year programme. Fees differ between the 2-year accelerated and 3-year standard programme.
